When i first seen this shot, i thought i liked it, but when I clicked on it and seen it larger, i thought I love this shot! Fantastic! oh, but i have got to ask, is that a mirror or a poster on the wall?

that's called "Brightness" !
(teacher one day, teacher everyday)

Maybe you should change your screen settings. You certainly use a laptop computer and that's definitely not the good choice (depends on the angle of viewing).

roh, zut ! je te ré;ponds en français alors^^
je ne connais aucun terme technique en anglais alors si on parle photo je ne vais pas suivre... (mais par contre, ça m'intéresse que tu m'apprennes du vocabulaire photographique in english !)

en effet, j'ai corrigé selon mon écran, je ne vois pas comment je pourrais faire autrement.

ton père doit avoir celà dans ses cartons, un brave écran CRT que tu calibres avec Color Sync (ton équivalent linux). Un écran de portable, selon que tu t'avachis sur ta chaise ou te redresses te donnera des images plus ou moins contrastées et faussera le rendu.

oui, et j'ai fait attention à ça pendant ma correction. le problème est plutôt que mon écran est très lumineux et il y a de grosses différences avec, par exemple, l'écran du portable de mon père.
